The Hecht family adored Ted, and loves Ted’s family in the way only the deepest, fondest, lifelong, Chicago-style (read: solid) friendships know. We will miss him so, and are forever grateful to have enjoyed a lifetime of milestones and rites of passage with him. The influence and encouragement Ted had for me, particularly during my time as cantorial soloist was strong and still resonates. I always felt Ted resembled an oak tree: solid, dependable, upright, strong, and filled with acorns… of wisdom! I send you all our deepest condolences at this tender time. With abiding love, Naomi
